The Perfect Top for the Season

When shopping at the Anthropologie here in Indy, I happened to spot this adorable tunic on display. I didn’t have anything like it in my closet so I thought, why not try it on? Once I had it in the dressing room, I immediately discovered how cool and versatile it was and I just had to buy it!

I brought the sheer top to Florida last week and decided to wear it one day over a tank and jean shorts. It was so lightweight, that I didn’t even feel hot in the high-80s weather.

Like I mentioned, I didn’t have anything like this in my closet and loved the unique look. One of the biggest bonuses? I’m over 18 weeks pregnant in these pics and thanks to the flowy fit and side slits, it not only looks great now but will continue to be wearable as my tummy grows!

Another adorable way to wear this piece is by tying up the panels. In fact, this is how it is styled on the Anthropologie website! Just grab the front panel and tie a simple knot in the front to achieve this look.

I like wearing the top over cut-off shorts (the way I wore it here), but how cute would this be over a solid maxi or even body-hugging dress? Or dressed down by slipping it over your bikini while on the beach or by the pool? It would make the cutest cover-up!

Love this top too? Buy it here or shop one of these similar styles…

  1. Looks very lightweight for a hot day indeed. Great that it grows with your pregnancy – congrats. I have not shopped at Anthropology before but I am always checking out their stuff online.
