Indy Blog Society Shopping Party

Earlier this week, a couple of us got to stop by the Indy Blog Society shopping event held by new(ish) Broadripple clothing store: Fira Boutique (check out our last shopping session at Fira here). It was so great to meet other Indy-area bloggers as champagne was poured and yummy cupcakes were served. We also got a great goodie bag for making a purchase!

Since this was a “shopping party”, we couldn’t help but pick up a few things while at the event…

Lys bought:

Being over 20 weeks pregnant, I had to control the urge to buy all the clothes I was loving because they were likely to not fit properly in the coming months. So I had to be strategic. I’ve had my eye on this adorable IND baseball hat for a while, so I bought it because I know it will fit no matter how my belly grows 😉

Kimonos are a pregnant girl’s best friend. Not only will they fit for all 9 months, the way they drape cuts you off at the sides, making you look long (not wide) while still showing off your tummy.

Janelle bought:

I chose this top because I feel like I could dress it up with skinnies and heels or down with denim and flats. I’m also loving the choker trend and this top has a built in one! Oh, and it’s black 🙂

If you’re in Indianapolis, make sure you pay Fira a visit! If you’re not in the area, check out their website here. Thanks again to the Indy Blog Society and Fira for hosting a fun shopping event! We look forward to stopping by again soon.
